Yes, there is something for you to hang your hardware hat on, RJ: Sony didn't include a highly limited port technology that is 20 years old and instead opted for the huge and growing bluetooth standard that is gaining more ground each year as more and more developers push the technology. But lord knows M$ won because they stuck with the tried and true IR port, want their users to pay $100 for a wifi adapter when it would be retardedly cheap to include it in the native box, and a PS3 IR adapter, if you choose to live in the stone age, is $20. All praise M$ and the 360, the gaming equivalent to an Audi A4: Stripped down, prone to electrical break downs, horrible resale values and no more exotic than a supped up Jetta (pc).
