I was wondering the same thing, like what's up with the gun inventory? Then I got that new heavy pistol, and:
-rate of fire changed very noticeably
-clip size changed noticeably
-ammo limit changed noticeably (60 rounds extra ---> 24 rounds extra)
-damage noticeably went up
it was like switching from the M9 to the Desert Eagle in Call of Duty.
haven't switched any other guns yet, but there IS a difference, even if the stats aren't there.
