Once I realized how to do it (moving it til you get high readings and launching the probe), I was probing the crap outta those planets. Plus it's more rewarding because you actually use the elements you gather to complete research and upgrades. In ME1, it was annoying because it was just a big collection mission with no real payoff. Eh... that's just my opinion though.

I've got serious "One More Planet" syndrome when it comes to scanning planets now.
