If it's a scoring play, you can go to the Stats menu after the game (don't quit yet) and then select "Gametracker". That has a list of ALL scoring plays from the game. You select the scoring play you want and the replay comes up. Then you can save the replay.
If you wanna save a non scoring play, I think you have to pause the game right when it happens and save it then. You can't get to non scoring plays after the game is over.
After you save it to your hard drive. You can get offline and then edit your replay and upload to the 2K website.
