I've been working on the family computer for over three hours getting this fuckin malware/trojan off this bitch, all becuase they decided to use norton & zonealarm. that combo didn't stop shit, just like I told em it wouldn't.

malware protector 2008 - malware
aspimgr.exe - backdoor
braviax.exe - backdoor ( & named after a sony product I SEE IT)

but it looks like this joint sd fix + combo fix (http://www.myantispyware.com/2008/03/15/how-to-remove-braviaxexecru629-malware/) is finally getting rid of it.

shit wouldn't be killed through any normal means, couldn't install avg, spybot wouldn't run, hijackthis wouldn't run, even those programs wouldn't run, I had to unpack sdfix on my laptop and copy the directory over to run it. but, the script did its job and removed that bullshit.


in closing - fuck norton. if they had just run free AVG like I FUCKING TOLD THEM TO, I'd be doing something else with my saturday night. (porn + xbox live)
