Call me inexperienced. this is my first MGS, and I simply cannot get into MGO.

the controls, while they take some getting used to, work great for the single player. It's slower-paced so you can take your time.

Online, though, I can't count how many times I've danced with dudes in close range trying to bring up my gun or throw a melee to no avail. There's no weight behind anything - throwing melees with the gun or knife, firing the guns, bumping into people. Does it help if I have the DS3? I dunno. I love stealth games, and I always sneak around in Gears and COD4, so it's not that.

Convince me to try some more. Does it get better when you start leveling up?
