seems like the Google idea would work, it actuall tracks where you are on the map as you move along. not sure if there will be voice navigation or not.

would 3rd party GPS software be possible?

also, just so i'm clear, you can't use itunes songs you upload or purchase for ringtones, correct. and this is not something that will change with the new iPhone?
