306157, I used a guide on Ranni's Questline and still missed out on a talisman

I guess you have to talk to that dude mage in the other tower, Stellis or something - and you have to give HIM a quest item before Ranni, and if you don't you miss out on a Talisman and you have to NG+ to get it.
I probably should have utilized the markers the game gives you. I made a laughable attempt on my Notepad to track "things I haven't done' and that lasted 3 locations
