I, like many people, was originally (implicitly) led to believe that Jesus was white. But, again, like many people, when the idea was introduced that he wasn't white my reaction was "oh, well, that makes sense." And I was able to change my idea about his race quite simply, because unlike you are I wasn't dogmatically tied to Jesus being one race or another. And again, I'd be quite willing to believe Jesus was black without problem if you could give me any reasonable evidence that that was so, but you can't because he wasn't.
For what it's worth, I do imagine there are people who need him to be white, I just think it's unlikely they'd be in OKActivist.
