McCarthy used it as an object to motivate his players. He had it placed
in the locker of each player after the cowboys got demolished by the Broncos.
He stated that after a team experiences a RAW ( red ass whopping) loss,
the players should put the powder on their butts to help take the sting
off.

He was speaking figuratively, but it was just a terrible motivational method.
