Frankly, it underscores some of his earlier actions, I.E, the Lebron "posse" fiasco. He's doing himself no favors here. Even with his stint with the Knicks being yet another NYK train wreck, he's still largely remembered for his Bulls and Lakers dynasties.
He's in that place where, if he just shuts the fuck up right here and now, it won't gain much traction and it'll go away within a few news cycles.
But if he gets a backlash, and if he responds? He's putting himself on the fast track to making some shit like this the last memory of him.
Anyone who cares about him should probably come get their man before he gets walked out.
