was true?
I guess it could be both true and insensitive.
Maybe he was looking to bring attention to the lines that have been drawn on that team. Maybe he was pointing out the racists that are on the team and in the organization. I don't know the guy's M.O. though.
Either way it goes, the Red Sox are kinda screwed. I'm sure this type of separation, among the players, can cause their overall performance to suffer. Camaraderie be damned!

Boston won the SB and the WS in the same year?
I really hate that town.

That's a big part of it. The GOP has somehow got the rights to being the party of religion when their actions don't match. But, people don't seem to care.

poverty coming to the US.
The Cubans who fled to America after Castro took over were more likely to be whiter and wealthier than average Cubans who stayed. Couple that with the Cold War perception of the GOP as the party for you if you want to kill commies and the fact that Cubans by law can not migrate here illegally (the second someone from Cuba sets foot on US soil, they're legal) and you've got a perfect recipe for a solid GOP voting block.
I think it's changing somewhat with younger generations who grew up post Cold War, but even someone as normally cool as Dan LeBatard has that old conservatism in him.
