Steph plays well when Beverley is guardng him. And KD played well tonight as well. Beverley has been an irritant against the Warriors, but has never come close to making a difference. I guess if he wasn't playing tonight the Warriors would have won by 35 instead of 17?
That said, I do like the Clippers young players. And of course Williams gets his respect. They could be a very interesting team in 2 or 3 years. Maybe by then this will be the great rivalry the Clippers have always wanted it to be.
On the Warriors side, Steph was out of his head. Draymond had a very good game (asides from the TOs). KD started bumpy but played well. Cousins was just okay. Started well, but too many turnovers. The Clippers have made it clear that they're going to ignore him on the 3-point line, so either make them pay, or play down low, where he should be able feast.
Clippers hsve gotta be frustrated, because Klay had a bad game, Cousins had a so-so game, KD got kicked out, the Warriors had 21 turnovers, and they still got beaten soundly. Overall, they just don't have enough skill to compete. Yet.

Yeah, pretty much. Not sure what else you expect. It's incredible that the Clippers are even here.

KD got kicked out of the game with less than five minutes to go in the4th quarter with the Warriors up 17. At that point, KD had 23 points and was shooting 0.500 from the field. KD knew exactly what he was doing.
When it comes to the play offs, Beverly is still lots of talk and hype with little to no results. He’s better off guarding guys like Lonzo Ball.

Clips were the aggressors and USUALLY the team that is gets the benefit of those calls. Just making an observation, especially because one thing that can cancel out the benefit of being the aggressor is being the home team. Dubs didnt get any home team calls that you usually see from what I recall.
Warriors shoulda won this game in the first quarter. They blew it. Also, credit to Doc, he has a good plan for the Dubs defensively.

It'll prepare them for the Rockets series.
KD was otherworldly. Draymond had a great complete. Klay was lockdown on D. Steph ended up playing well. And Iggy bounced back and brought it off the bench.
And after a chippy series, the Warriors and Clippers showed each other lots of respect after the game. Kept it on the court.
Aside from my feeling on Beverly, I liked this Clippers teams. They're young and talented, and have the potential to be really dangerous in the near future. Especially if they use that cap space well.
Otherwise, mostly concerned about Steph and Klay's ankles. Both turned them and both powered through. Don't expect either to miss a game, but the short turnaround is a bit concerning. I don't know if the coaching staff decides to play it safe and rest Steph game 1.
