It's not like the Cavs or the Grizz were under-performing; they were always going to be bad, and they'll likely be bad next year too. Their coaches were first year guys who didn't get a chance to really do anything.

And the Joerger move is weird too. For already stated reasons.

Unless these guys have hot shit candidates in mind that they firmly believe will turn the team around, what's the point here?

He’s not a bad coach; he’s very good at developing young players. But as soon as the script got flipped to “YOU HAVE TO WIN RIGHT NOW WITH LEBRON AND MICHAEL BEASLEY AND LANCE STEPHENSON!” he was in over his head and pretty much cooked.

He’ll probably land in Sacramento. Or he could pretty easily get a college job. Outside chance he comes back to the Warriors.

"Please let us get a top 2 pick!"

If it ain't Zion or Ja, not sure if they'll get this one right. I guess Coby White would make sense.

But we legit have every position covered but PG. Strange draft season for the Bulls. Not sure what we do if we don't end up 1-2.

But we'll need to have enough talent to win in spite of our coaching/front office.

To be fair, Boylen wasn't doing a 'horrible' job later in the season but...he wouldn't be my 5th choice if we were trying to hire a coach right today.

I want Luke as option A. He did a damn good job with the Lakers and is a fine NBA head coach. He's just what we need because he develops young players.

Dave Joerger did great in Sacremento. It's not his fault they play out west..

Jason Kidd did great in Milwaukee. Ownership pulled the plug too soon.

It's like a Jr. Golden State squad in some ways, and could play in a style similar to what he coached/learned w/Kerr and crew. This year's Lakers roster didn't play to his strengths as a coach (or exposed weaknesses).

I hope he's actually a good coach because I like the squad he's inheriting.

you got THE best possible teacher for Sexton.
every PG Michigan has had since 2010 played in the league, and none of them were recruits above the ~50 range. he's gonna turn the juice up to 11 on the Sexton-Love PnR/PnP.
