"NBA 4/7/19 - Last Regular Season Game at Oracle Arena"
And it's a pretty important game for both the Warriors and The Clippers. The Warriors win, they lock down the #1 seed, and get to rest everyone during the road back-to-back. And the Clippers lose, they're the #8 seed and only have one game left to play.
Regardless, kind of sad to have the last regular season home game at Oracle. I know the play-offs are still to come, but it just means it closer to the Warriors never playing here again. It's the home of many of my favorite in-person sports-related memories.

Back when it was just the Oakland Coliseum. Yeah, it was pretty no frills, but that was a no frills era for basketball stadiums. And it was a no frills type of crowd who used to come out there.
I know commentators like to talk a lot about "Roaracle," but during the '80s and early '90s, whoooo boy did it get loud. Went to Game 3 in 1989, where we ending up sweeping the Jazz out of the first round (#7 over #2 upset) and they gave Mitch Richmond the ROY award. Man, it was PAINFULLY loud.
Definitely going to miss. I might have to try to buy some play-off tickets off of my homie, because I know realistically I'm never going to be able to make it out to the Chase Center to catch a game.

Shit, man, lots of memories.
That's why IF we do win this year, it will be the second most important for me, after #1.
And as for the game itself, I do enjoy watching them beat the brakes off of the Clippers. Looks like there's a chance the Warriors will have a few more chances, since the Clippers destiny isn't solely in their hands anymore.

Which they framed as them continuing to acknowledge the team's history in Oakland.
But it's as much of a branding decision. They're globally known as The Golden State Warriors. Helps to keep the name recognition.
The team said they're also keeping the "Town" jerseys, and still will wear them on occasion in SF. Just like the team occasionally wears "The City" jerseys out here.
