I'm always sad when Duke loses, but when Duke loses and UNC wins the title, I'm absolutely fucking despondent. So at bare minimum this season, I'll avoid despondent. Shout out to Auburn for that.

That kid commits 15 fouls a game. He looks like Kenny Mayne mauling the 8 year old for the ball in the “This is sportscenter” big brother commercial at least 3 times a game with no whistle, and hooks and pushes off going to the hole all the time.
He’s the storyline though. So he’ll be in the title game, no matter what.

*shrug*
The Zion hook shoulda been an offensive foul. But in a game when Blackshear is basically Andrew Bogut sliding along to prevent defenders from following their man into the paint, my sympathy for missed calls is zero. Especially when the missed out-of-bounds call-- and Jamie WAS RIGHT FUCKING THERE!!-- gave VT *two* extra shots at a win.

I know basically nothing about every sport other than college basketball (and a pinch of NBA). But I watch a shitload of college basketball, am generally not an asshole, and am usually in most any college basketball post... so hopefully I'm one of the few folks that people won't *completely* dismiss on these topics.

I have a college basketball podcast with someone from the Fiyastarter crew (which also has OKP ties, as you may know)! 2.1 Seconds to Madness. He used to be in the sports biz. I'm just a junkie who usually watches a clean 8+ hours a week of college basketball.

... but I think it's fairly close to a done deal that he's going to A&M. :-\ He definitely makes the ACC better, but I also can't blame him if he goes home to a school with more money and resources in sports than VT has.
