Fans say shit that is way over the line all the time. The players absolutely *can* hear us in most sports and most venues, especially if you're decently close to the playing surface. I have zero issue with what Russ said to the guy and I don't even care what specifically the guy was saying to Russ. That said, the goals of these asshole fans are to one, get recognized, and two, throw you off your game in some way. Check and check. The best thing Russ could have done is acted like this asshole didn't exist and then drop 50 on Ricky Rubio's head. But I get why he responded and I don't blame him.
