Prior to this Dirk had his soul stolen by Golden State in that crazy Baron Davis season, and the 2006 Finals where Wade was a FORCE unstoppable.
Dirk was on fire throughout that whole playoffs. Watching the highlights give me chills. Bosh tried his best (and he was Miami's best defender IIRC), but when Dirk was on... it was over.
This is really what KD should be. Maybe we'll get to see it
