Cousins is going to be the Warriors best offensive center since Joe Barry Carroll. It will always feel weird to say that since 1) it's been that long and 2) it's weird to say something about JBC in a positive light.
And if Cousins plays in the post like everyone hopes, he'll either average 25 points a game and/or make things for Klay and probably Steph even easier offensively.

The refs did their best to turn the game into a slog (54 total fouls?!?!? Come on), we couldn’t hit 3s (except Boogie), and it was more of a defensive exhibition, but i did like what I saw.
Boogie is going to be fun. If Kerr continues to use this rotation, it’s certainly going to make the fourth quarter a lot more interesting. Usually Curry and KD sit, so the only good offensive player out there is Klay. But if it’s Klay and Cousins? Shit. And while I’d been wary of Boogie shooting 3s, who the fuck am I to argue with results?
Only wish we could have gotten a whole season of this.

Conventional thinking was that after the 1 year rental with the Warriors he would sign a max or near max deal somewhere else.
What team gives him this deal?
With the Warriors we are getting to see him on national tv games more and while he is obviously talented, the other areas of his game that have been problems for him have surfaced.
The Warriors are mostly able to manage because they are a veteran team with an established culture and strong leaders really Boogie is nothing more than a glorified role-player on this team.
But on a different team with a big contract where he is expected to be the best or one of the best players and lead you can see where the other stuff can be a problem.
The inconsistent effort on defense, that unnecessary attitude, the poor body language, you can see why despite his talent he had never led a team to the playoffs.
Additionally with the NBA becoming more and more perimeter oriented its tough for a more traditional center to stay on the floor and be effective.
Can you really give a max deal to a player like that? It will need to be a team with other strong veteran personalities and a strong coach to balance things out. IS it really worth it?

But is he really a traditional center? One of Boogie's hallmarks is his ability to play traditional and also space the floor despite his size.

i mean, that's a team (the only team imo) that isn't scared of the warriors, because they know for a fact that they can beat them. every team won't be able to expose them like that. so upping boogie posts after a loss to the rox feels a little prisoner-of-the-momenty.
that said: yeah, buddy out on that perimeter looking like cooked food. every time they switched the P&R chris was licking his chops. and other teams will watch that film and copycat.
their best lineup is still the one w iggy. boogie's still a solid player but with THIS team, in THIS role, there will be times in certain playoff matchups where he's not playable.
