Everybody knew that contract extension was a BAD idea. He still had 2 yrs, 37 mill left on his deal. WTF where the Wiz thinking, you gotta laugh at these big dummies!

Other than the seven cats I just listed, I can't think of any other MUST SEE players in the Association today. All of these so-called MAX players ain't filling the stands like these seven are. Ain't nobody that I know is sitting around screaming: "I gotta go see Wiggins/Butler/etc play."
At the same time, I don't begrudge these cats that extort a team for that bread. They're worth every penny that someone contracts to pay them. Wiggins pulled the wool over Taylor's eyes and laughs every time that direct deposit hits.

Like I said its only maybe 5-10 dudes in the NBA that are really max contract players, the rest of it is throwing away money chasing people who are not. Sure its cool seeing guys get their money but it widens the competitive imbalance in the the league where only 2 or 3 teams are even relevant.
Wall had done nothing to warrant that kind of contract. The team has historically played better without him. They'd be in much better shape now if they had let him walk. Now that franchise is doomed for the next 5+ years with $200+ in dead money on the books. They overpaid for Otto Porter too.

Remember a few years when Sergio Kindle fell down some stairs in his house (if I remember the location correctly)? Dude fell down very soon after being drafted. The fall caused him to fracture his skull. Was never the same again.
