The young Lakers shot the lights out, until they didn't in the 4th.

They played one heck of a game though. Kuzma is serious. B.I. still needs to be more aggressive. Lonzo even had his one good shooting game of the month.

Kings keep fighting though. I really love this team. Bogey balled out. Kid is special.

Not gang rebounding, over-helping, not closing out on shooters, running under a shooter, stopped moving the ball (BI in particular was forcing), Lonzo's cramps didn't help anything either. Props to the Kings for taking full advantage.

That’s why Luke pulled BI late in the game, terrible possessions from him. He’s great as the second or third attacker but all the #’s show he’s very inefficient in PnR & isos.

he nowhere near harden's offensive instincts, but he could be a franchise centerpiece as an all-around star. i've talked about how his lack of 3 point shooting might prevent him from scoring as much as he could and he still hasn't developed that.

He reverted under stressful conditions last night but that's expected. Overall, he's been far more decisive and attacking rotations well. The reality is he isn't good in PnR or ISO compared to everything else, that's eye test backed up by the data.

No knock on him, but he's been pushed more and more to the side since they drafted Lonzo.

Then you add Bron, the rise of Kuzma, etc.

Even Ba admits he doesn't fit what they are doing.


They should have flipped him when his stock was at its peak. Plus, to get him a better situation because he deserves it- especially after they made Lonzo the pimpled face of the franchise his rookie year, and let BI take a back seat.

BI's gone from untouchable top star for the Lakers to nearly an after thought in a little over 2 years.

Kinda sad.

I'm the only Laker fan who defended BI year one because I could see the ceiling and I still see it so you can miss me with that "they" nonsense. Thankfully BI ain't like you and has the ability to recognize his deficits, like him stating that the ball got too sticky in his hands down the stretch.
