"Tell why UNDISPUTED is better than FIRST TAKE"

Shannon had the likeability that Steven A wishes that he had. The chemistry between Skiiiiiiiiiip and Shannon is really good. Max and Steven and Max have too many awkward moments and I can't tell if they actually like or dislike each other at times.

Who you got UNDISPUTED or FIRST TAKE

I can't sit through these shows where dudes are just screaming on each other

I prefer, much much much more, the Jalen & Jacoby/High Noon formats...where dudes are exchanging ideas

instead of forcing opposing opinions on the commentators just for the spectacle of it.

plus, J&J and Bo and Pablo are actual friends in real life and the chemistry comes out in the show. They aren't just 2 dudes thrown together to make an argumentative/combative "show". I honestly didn't think people really took Undisputed or First Take seriously...same with the Colin Cowherd/Jason Whitlock amalgamation.

But Shannon and Skip don't just yell at each other. They have really good chemistry and offer up great points to consider.

I'm a huge Colin Cowherd fan. Jason Whitlock can fall in a deep hole.

I don't HATE him.

He has almost never ever ever ever made an interesting
point about anything, nor made me laugh about anything.

Ever.

Not once.

Rush Limbaugh was more interesting and compelling a sports
figure than Jacoby. I mean from an actual sports perspective.
I mean that.

he has never made you laugh, so he's worthless? Also...how often do you listen to JandJ? Like, for real. He's not just some guy who got on a podcast because he knew Jalen. Dudes been with ESPN like 20 years and has written and produced all types of shit there and for Grantland. Shit that he's won awards and been nominated for awards for. I've seen you just openly dismiss him before and I'm willing to bet you don't know anything about him. Of course, you'll say you did, though.

and they have good chemistry. I wouldn’t care for Jacoby on his own as an on air personality, but while I like Jalen well enough in other formats I think he’s easily at his best on Jalen and Jacoby. So Jacoby brings something to the table on air, IMO. I can’t say I’ve followed the show as much since it got on TV, but from like ‘13-‘16 I probably listened to 90% of the episodes.

Post something artful and interesting that he's AUTHORED,
as in, was an INDISPENSABLE piece of.

I've never heard a single thing he's done and been like "YO,
that's fascinating!" For example: I cannot STAND Colin Cowherd.
I don't like Bill Simmons. But BOTH of them are actually
talented people. They do something. They author things. I LIKE
Jacoby WAY WAY better as a PERSON than I do either. But he's
doesn't do shit.

I don't care about how long dude's been a company man. And
"producer" is often a paper title. I don't give a shit.

Make him disappear -- what does the show lose? What does the
network lose?

The one thing Max and Stephen A have is a mastery over
the fight game, which is a sneaky advantage because
boxing is headed towards a resurgence and MMA is still
exploding in popularity.

Skip and Shannon are both football guys first and foremost.
NFL is still the biggest, but they both lack seriously.

So First Take has way more breadth. And them being a black
kid and a Jewish kid from NYC does breed a type of shit
talking chemistry that works for me

Undisputed has two guys with big personalities who
say and do wild shit. Very entertaining.

I don't watch either regularly, but both are effective
