If he wants to return to the game at some point that’s his right. The same right that you and I have.

This was obviously about being too afraid to compete with harbaugh year in year out.

But the constant sideline shots of him a few weeks ago doubled over in obvious pain were tough to see. Migraines are weird and unexpected and I'm glad I don't have to deal with them.

He isn't as stoic as Tressel was with the sideline demeanor

This season he was even more visibly frustrated bc our defense was Swiss cheese

I thought ESPN was milking those sideline shots a bit too much

This was the deal that was cut after the investigation. Thats why he was so pissed in that press conference and one of the board members resigned. Several of them wanted him fired right then.

That said, we will be alright. Maybe not quite as good...but we will be cool.

Interest in going to the Pac 12 and coaching Cal!?! Just kidding, Urban isn’t coming to Cal.

On a serious note, would Urban be interested in USC? That could work out timing wise for both SC and Urban. Urban could easily dominate recruiting in the Pac 12 and would easily win the Pac 12.

he's had an incredible run.

- found and made stars out of quarterbacks perfect for his system (Josh Harris, Alex Smith, Tim Tebow, Braxton Miller, J.T. Barrett)

- 3 national championships, 7 conference championships and 11-3 bowl record

- program builder and turnaround king; he took a 2-9 MAC team and made them 8-3 his first opportunity as a HC, he made a Mountain West team into a Fiesta Bowl champion, he revitalized a down Florida program and brought them more national championships than Steve Spurrier could, then came home and restored Ohio State after an ugly break-up with their 2nd national title in 48 years

- the ignorance/favoritism within his programs will probably fade from memory the longer he stays out of coaching, but he let the best players run the program in Florida (Percy Harvin, Brandon Spikes and Janoris Jenkins failing drug tests weekly, Aaron Hernandez doing God knows what, Chris Rainey kicked off the team for telling his girlfriend "time to die, bitch" then brought back in a month FOR THE GEORGIA GAME). he seemed to have toughened up at Ohio State but then this whole Zach Smith fiasco evaporated that.
