is that he looked to penetrate rather than just settle for bad rushed outside shots. Diversifying his offensive options will do him and the Knicks a tremendous favor.

he high-key had the best preseason in the entire NBA. looks like he's gonna carry that over to the games that count.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

Are the Suns better than the Rockets? Ayton looks good and playing with a lot of poise. Ariza was a big part of the Rockets success. They better try to get Jimmy Butler.

37 points in the first quarter is a great sign, last year it was strictly Booker who could score. But Dallas without Dirk is threatening to tie the game

one of his teammates threw a crazy pass towards halfcourt....Vince chases down the pass, leaps over the halfcourt line, cups the ball and flips it behind his back to Taurean Prince...Prince gets the ball, holds it with the shot clock running down and bails out passing to Carter as he sprints back over the half court line...Carter pulls up and calmly drains a 38 footer as the shot clock expires. Beautiful to see him out there setting the bar high for the young players on the court.

and now they don't have to worry about LeBron. I dunno, look out for 'em now.

Kawhi looked pretty much like he's known to look. Danny was launching 3s at will.

As for the Cavs, shooting was abysmal, but man, I like that they didn't quit, even down 20. that offense is way different, more movement around the court, esp. off the ball. Questions will be asked about the Lue System. Cedi, man. It was a joy to watch him. Everyone's going to be looking at Kevin Love, but I think they're going to miss who the real focal point of the team will be. Even Tristan looked to be his old self again. We saw some legitimate "Top Gear" moments too.

Not a horrible show against one of the top teams in the East which is now upgraded significantly on the wing.

In terms of true inside players, it was Capela vs. Davis and Randle.

N.O. had the advantage in the paint, they thumped them on the boards and in the paint like they were supposed to(AND Miroric went off), and Houston didn’t play well enough offensively to overcome the mismatch up front. We know going in that Houston is not built to defend a team like NO and that they’ve gotta outscore them. Utah is going to give them problems too IMO. But a lot of other teams are built as a poor man’s Houston. They’ll be fine.
