"The Zion Williamson Post"
Thu Aug-16-18 12:46 AM by Frank Longo

Let the highlights begin with tonight's game. 3-4 from three-point range too. I'LL TAKE IT.

People talk about the dunks (as they should), but I'm most impressed with the passing, the handles, and the speed for a dude his size. Anyone who thinks dude is nothing but a freak dunker hasn't watched him play.

but still, if he could drop 10-15 lbs around his core that he's carrying?

i think he'd be just as "strong" but quicker and less likely to get fatigued.

also, less wear and tear on them knees, considering he's already putting them to the maximum w/ his explosive jumping ability.

The phrase “exhibition game” still has the word “game” in it. We really gonna start this post off on a semantics note?

Y'all getting Zion hurt my feelings lol

I thought he should have gone to South Carolina or UNC to balance things but it might have been a good strategy to play with those guys, steal their thunder and spring his way to #1 next summer.

Him minus 20-30lbs would be crazy IMO.

As much as I hate Duke...I'll be watching.

Obviously his combination of size and athleticism and leaping ability is incredible but that also opens him up to more risk because he’s launching himself into bad landing positions. Reminds me of Blake Griffin in that regard, hopefully there’s someone at Duke in his ear about risk/reward

about him this morning watching SC. He's so explosive, it's mind-boggling, but the way his body lands...looks hurtful. I couldn't put my finger on it, but you explained it perfectly and early Blake is a great comparison, in that regard.

dance around defenders and avoid contact but end up with a lot of lateral, one legged landings.

nothing drose reckless, tho, so that's good. but i agree w/ you that he needs to chill and pick his spots.

I think he is a bigger even more explosive version of Larry Johnson. LJ wreaked havoc on the league at 6'5 until all the back injures. Zion is a matchup nightmare at the 4.

year.

been watching zion killing the mixtape game for a couple of years. can't not watch.

speaking of highlights, in passing, last night, did i see dude just casually crash the boards, catch the ball in his right hand, and then switch it to his left midair and tomahawk it on the putback for no good ass reason?

he's straight up chiseled now, too. and 3/4 from behind the line... sickness.

barett is nasty, too.

once they get rid of 1 and done, this won't happen any more. but their season gonna be crazy.

peace & blessings,
