Yea the early talk seems to be the white dude was drunk and was just banging on windows thinking they were his Uber.
I can totally see a version of myself get so angry at that, Taht I would confront someone.... but man the aftermath of that. Killing someone... I’m sure most people once in their right mind would just be like, it just wasn’t worth it.
Some of the masculine culture and patriarchy were all (or most of us) are raised in, leads us to these violent displays of anger.

This one is all in the details, most of which it seems we don’t really know yet.
If the guy was just drunk and annoying but not hostile or threatening or doing any damage to anyone or anything, then he didn’t need to punch him in the first place.
If he was drunk and hostile, and instigating the situation to where it wouldn’t be ended without someone getting physical, then that’s different.
