Maybe for me Reggie White, Jerry Rice, Jim Brown and Walter Payton. It's hard. Too many positions

And you will know MY JACKET IS GOLD when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

- Payton was the ultimate running back, he broke Jim Brown's records which people thought were untouchable, could juke and punish defenders equally well, great receiver, devastating blocker. He was just a warrior.

- Rice, all-time leader in yards from scrimmage and TD's, dominated across multiple eras with different QB's.

- LT literally changed the way the game is played, teams had to change their entire offense just for him, could go blow by you or go through you.

- Prime dominated the game defensively in a whole different way, they only guy that could take away the entire side of the field for a passing offense.

This list is all modern era not all-time. I'd replace Eli with Darrelle if I could but my list needs more defense.

I can't use Ed Reed or Ray Lewis because I'm a biased hater.
I can't use Bus, Hines Ward, Big Ben, insert Steelers modern hall of famer because I'm a hater.
None of the Cheatriots get in because I'm petty and they're cheaters.
Nick Foles gets an honorary nod because he beat an all-time modern era team.
AP isn't on the list because of lack of players inspired by him.

My list is basically all of the players that inspired others and left behind generational legacies.
