"If Portland gets Olajuwon instead of Sam Bowie..."
Fri Jun-15-18 02:31 PM by COOLEHMAGAZINE

How many titles does that Blazers squad win?

Porter
Drexler
Kersey or Cliff Robinson
Buck Williams
Olajuwon

Never really remembered that Portland lost the first pick that year in a coin flip, and thus saw their plan to pick Olajuwon fall apart.

My comment is still accurate but if you want to live in the past go ahead.

love the Dream, however Sabonis was a Badd Boy for Portland when he was 55, imagine if they got him younger and in his prime and peak?

doesn’t suffer a similar fate as Bowie?

This convo is always a funny one because folks act like Bowie wasn’t a monster. It was injuries that derailed the guy; not his talent.

There was a reason Olajuwon was picked first and no one suggested it should have been Bowie.

Also I don't understand this logic, the injuries were not the result of being in Portland. Bowie was already damaged goods coming out of college.

And lets not forget Bowie and Olajuwon both made the All-Rookie team in 84-85 and Olajuwons stats were head and shoulders above Bowie's already.

Nah b, what you are saying doesn't make sense.

From 1991 to 1998, every NBA championship team included either Jordan or Olajuwon; furthermore, at least one of Drexler, Jordan, and Olajuwon was involved in every NBA Finals from 1990 to 1998- is what matters here
