The Lakers supporting cast is good enough that I don't think the Warriors ball movement and shooting can outweigh the fact that Shaq and Kobe are the two best players on the floor.
Lakers not great rebounders but in this match-up, that would not be a huge issue.
Shaq is too athletic to be forced off the floor by lineup changes.

People forget what an absolute SAVAGE Shaquille O'Neal was. He gets remembered for "heal on company time" and his post-career affability...but in his prime in big games he would absolutely BLUDGEON teams. What's gentle Kevin Durant gonna do when Shaq is on the same floor

Shall would get 40-50 a game and 20 on the boards.
Lakers biggest worry would be Fisher on Curry and how to check Durant but looking at this roster they have athletic, physical defensive options for both.
Not acting like they wouldn't score, but Lakers options to defend Curry and Durant are better than Warriors options re: Prime Shaq

For a team that's won three of the last four titles, they're laughably soft for a supposed "dynasty" group. Part of that comes from never having been challenged, and part of that comes from being almost TOO talented - no one has to really exert themselves above and beyond like Bron has had to do or like Mike did. They're a super-successful bunch of content millenials.

Those guys are hardly in Shaq's universe but they matchup size-wise. Teams threw a bunch of bigs at Shaq to slow him down slightly and they can do that. He would punish them for sure but nothing too crazy.

You talking about teams like the Blazers?
Dale Davis 6-11 230 Arvydas Sabonis 7-3 279 Chris Dudley 6-11 235 Rasheed Wallace 6-10 225 Bryan Grant 6-9 254 Jermaine O'Neal 6-11 225

Even the "role players" pose some intriguing match-ups:
Draymond/West vs Horace/Horry Fox/Shaw/Harper/George vs Livingston/Iggy/Young
Kobe and Thompson not so much but Klay has the size and strength to check Kobe, if not the athleticism and mental makeup. And I think Klay would have at least one lights-out game on offense.

Let Shaq eat, pressure Kobe, guard the three-point line. They are more athletic than Detroit and much better all-around offensively. Shaq would be enough of a problem to make the series close but I don't see the Lakers' two-man team beating four stars.
