Shooting is better than it's ever been. Scores are high, offenses are efficient.

Also plenty of big name personalities who are known as stars across this country. One could potentially argue there are more "household names" in the NBA than the NFL right now. (Not saying I *would,* but the fact that I even think it's close says a lot.)

My apologies if both article already spell that out, but I'm a bit to occupied to read either article at the moment.

Ratings going up is interesting since across television in general, ratings are going on a downward trend, especially in regards to the other major sports.
