the Cavs are a little bit more balanced, but still inconsistent, esp. on defense. LeBron can erase a lot, but he can't erase the fundamentals.

agendas aside, you run with that kind of team and you lose a key component, you're sunk in the end. that's why the Heatles really ended. Wade was falling off. Heat played way better defense than LeBron Cavs 2.0 but that team really needed all 3 of the core players to eat da poo poo to win in the playoffs. same with the Cavs.


in any case, the days of Cavs series sweeps are over. it's always gonna be best of 6-7, going forward.

Nobody in NBA history could lead this team to the Finals (except perhaps LeBron). This is essentially a brand new, young, inexperienced team minus Love, JR, & Tristan (and Tristan is wholly washed and JR is almost washed).

You saw the inexperience last night. Hood & Clarkson looked like deer in headlights and were anxious all night - never settled down. Hill looked lost in the wilderness. Nance was the only new player who played with any kind of poise - and LeBron didn't do enough to make up for the team's poor play. It'll be like this all playoffs and it's why I don't see them getting out of the East. It's just too much to ask for an inexperienced team trying to gel on the fly.

Even tho Hill, Clarkson and Hood went 2-10 if the guys up above go 4-12 instead of 0-12 it's much different ball game. If the new guys knock down 1 more shot (3-10) CLE is in position to pull off the comeback.

I just think shooting better will cover for a lot of the issues. They're not gonna turn into a defensive juggernaut overnight. However, they might be able to force the ball out of Oladipo's hands and make Indy a far less efficient offensive team.

he doesn't have a strong side kick to cover his dome. Kevin Love is like One could sneeze from being done and he is the only tradeable part they got. bottom line if Kevin Love doesn't come with it than Bron and crew are cooked.

and you knew after his hot burst that he wasn't really going to close the deal. It was a wonderful performance, but Wade just can't sustain that anymore. I'd be surprised if he had another standout game this series.

He was also a horrible fit in Cleveland.
