"NBA 4/6 "
Fri Apr-06-18 07:12 PM by Vex_id

NBATV doubleheader w/ Cavs @ Sixers & Lakers/Wolves. Philly is buzzing, city is hungry and fans are in a frenzy. This is why it's disrespectful to presume the Cavs steam-roll the East. Philly is the hottest team in the league and are gel'ing rapidly.

The East is so evenly spread out this year that literally it's like a mini march madness where top seeds could get picked off in early rounds.

crazy how many games there are w/ playoff implications. Playoffs have already started for the tight traffic in the 3-8 seeds in both divisions.

You and the other Philly fans would be so insufferable. And as someone who'd be happy to see Philly win-- loved the Process, would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see JJ win a ring-- I'd be all the way here for it.

After less than a season of injury? Because his post-surgery jumpshot "looked funny"? Good times.

Dude's got 10/3/4 in a big game and hasn't even played ten minutes yet. Just saw him do a move to the rim that left defenders baffled.

Consistently takes second place.

Best of his era? Hands down.

Great person and role model? Of course.

Top 4-8 all time? Sure.

But GOAT? Nah. Honestly? Not even close.

And that’s ok.

In fact, he’s had an amazing career.

But his stans, of which you are the kang, don’t seem
to enjoy it because you constantly want to over-rate
things, lower the bar, and break out the measuring stick.

I mean, he just lost to philly by missing clutch free
throw, and that’s the moment you want to have a goat
debate.

Lulz!!!

Bron Stans are the absolute worst.

It isn’t enough that he’s an all -time great...you
are incapable of just enjoying that.

Y’all too pressed.

Jordan was the goat by age what 33? Maybe 29?

If y’all stopped trying to chase what you aren’t going to
catch everyone would enjoy the next few years a lot
more.

2nd place is still 2nd place.

Then again, you literally celebrate a loss to
philly in the regular season like it’s a legacy- building
win lol lol

Lebron stans in a nutshell. Y’all love to celebrate L’s

And since the comparison was invited yet again, it’s fair game to point out that Jordan’s team went 72-10 and won it all when he was 33. Averaged 30.4 points, 6.6 reb, 4.3 assists, 2.2 steals, shot .495 and .427 from 3, won MVP and first team All Defense.

Everybody is different but I do wonder if the LeBron Superstan type fans even enjoy the ride, being that pressed? He’s an incredible player and a marvel to watch at this point in his career, I can appreciate that and just enjoy what I’m seeing. Hope they can too.

I mean, unless you’re 65 years old how do you really rate guys you’ve seen versus those you havent? And even then it’s nearly impossible to compare across eras.

I guess my point is, who really gives a shit? Lol. He’s easily one of the best players ever. People been way too pressed to argue this shit. Was this always a thing? Were people back in the 80’s always comparing Magic, Dr. J, Kareem and Bird to Oscar and Wilt and Russell and West? Feel like it’s more a 2000’s we’ve got to fill up air time thing so let’s have these annoying assholes yell back and forth on TV everyday about it.

why the numbers???? When I'm old as hell (most of us, too) and I think back about the best basketball players I've ever seen...Bron will EASILY be one of them. No doubt, no question. I don't care if he's 1, 3, 6, 8, 11...etc. He's fucking PHENOMENAL and I'm enjoying what I've seen and what I keep seeing.
