I'll be quick to admit my Mets fandom these past couple of years has been about as attentive as Trump attending a Janet Yellen speech, but I've decided to make more of an effort this year. Trying out At-Bat audio for now, we've had a couple games on national TV already which helps.
What are your hopes for the season? Most predictions have us around .500, I'd be fine with that. I live in Houston and as cool as the 'Stros run was last season I'd kinda like to be able to stay interested in the Mets as late as possible. At the very least I wanna see what comes of Rosario this year. Trying to not get back on the Harvey train, although is there even such a thing?

Pen’s looked decent so far. If Scooter’s back for real for real, we have good cover all over the field. I would have liked some of the guys we missed out on, but the team looks solid. If Harvey just pitches like a Boras client in their walk year, we’re good money. I could see us winning 88-94 games and pushing the Cubs in the CS.

We have 4 legit stars, and a blend of youth and vets
-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

ok not that nerdy because I only went back to 1987, but in those 31 seasons there have been 8 teams that have started 10-1 or better, and 7/8 of those finished over .500. The only exception, the 2002 Indians, finished 74-88 (after starting 11-1). More disappointingly none of the 7 teams went farther than the division series, including the 2003 Giants who started 13-1 and won 100 games. So it's a good reminder of how long the regular season is, and how optimism might still be misplaced at this point in time. But we're Mets fans, deep in our bones we already all knew that.

j/k, of course the start (and how we've won games) is awesome, just thought I'd put some meaningless context onto it. Hopefully we keep some sort of momentum going again the Brewers
