Either on The Hoop Collective or The Basketball Friends (TrueHoop) they listed the net difference per quarter per 100 possessions for Minny. They rank in the top 10? in the first half. But like you mentioned, they fall off a cliff in the second half, especially in the fourth.
The same podcast mentioned that Jimmy Butler is now complaining about the exhaustion the team feels.
That Thibodeau is in the same mindset of grinding his players down, even after his 'sabbatical' during that year he was out of coaching just seems blind, at best, or arrogant.

especially since the Knicks won and all and he put in a good clip of points, but I am bothered by the amount of times Porzingis ends up on the floor when he trying to post up. I know he's try sell contact to the referees to make it easier to score, but just so odd to see a big not only flop, but end on on the floor when nine times out of ten, it's when he's being defended by a player significantly smaller than him.

Now he still kind of does the same, but more so he's super slow to react or second guesses every reaction on that end. Nothing is fluid. It's almost as if you can see him thinking it through. That's why his 1 on 1 defense is a lot better than rotation.
But when he's caught thinking about offense or foul trouble or something else that's when he loses track of Ben Simmons and gets backdoored or lolly gags back after a free throw and Holmes catches an oop.
