"Man, if KD a bitch, so are PG and Melo. People really scared of Russ? "
Tue Dec-12-17 09:47 AM by Basaglia

this is crazy. this nigga got shooting splits of awful/not good/subpar and he just get to chuck 20+ times with a top 20 guy and former scoring champ in tow?

and these niggas talking AROUND the issue. i just saw PG mumbling about "we gotta do something" "dis gotta stop, man...gotta stop"

this is amazing. people was poplockin like they were a threat to the warriors. these dudes are a clown show.

i had no idea russ game would still be this unpolished at 30 years old (nigga...he 30. stop it). he's figured out that same bum ass assist trick that many wanna be greats like fat lever, pooh richardson, baron davis and nick van exel figured out...push the ball hard as fuck as much as possible. fuck controlling pace. everybody gon be tired with me and we gon lose.

this dude uncysable now.

All the variables around him have changed and yet it's still the same ole problems....but he definitely can't be the issue - he averaged a triple double, he's absolved from all things, forever.

Meanwhile - I'm loving all of it. PG already got his ticket booked and packing up his shit (if he even unpacked in the first place).

while going 1-10.

That bum ass bench is problem #2 if Russy's shooting is problem #1. I knew that MVP would make dude unmuzzleable. Dude might end up on and Island by himself if this don't turn soon.

PG and Melo might bounce and if the word is Russ don't play well with others, he might be destine to end his career as a scowl face loser stat padding all alone in OKC with bums. As much as I like Russ...I can't help but think he might end up as Iverson 2.0.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

How many dudes in today's NBA seem *actually* crazy the way Russ seems sometimes?

Like, how surprised would we be if someone tried to fight Russ during a game and Russ took a kung fu stance? Or how surprised would we be if someone asked him a question he didn't like at a press conference and he just stared at the reporter silently until everyone got up and left?

His craziness can make him fun to watch when he's cooking, but it doesn't surprise me in the slightest that *Paul George* doesn't want to have that convo with him. He's afraid he'd wake up with a horse's head in his bed the next morning.

they understood the power of change of pace. Russ has no clue. He's amazing, can do stuff no one else can do, but he really doesn't understand basketball the way that high IQ players do. Harden is better, KD is showing right now that with Curry hurt, he's a better Russ than Russ is, plus he's still KD.

Shit was brutal.

I went specifically to catch Westbrook and basically followed him the entire game. He had the ball in his hands for what seemed like 70% of every possession - the double-digit assists were misleading from a team perspective. Dude screamed on a teammate for not passing him the ball on a contested inbound with 4 seconds left in the 2nd quarter. Started like 0-7, looked frustrated as shit, kept forcing questionable shots.

The game was ugly on both sides from buzzer to overtime buzzer, but damn...somehow watching Russ catch another triple-double was a real disappointment.

Melo and PG barely over 40% themselves.

There is zero good reason that all 3 of them should be looking at career worst shooting percentages.

Long season, but it’s a struggle right now.

Lebron's first year in Miami their barely hovered above .500 before they got rolling, Lebron's first year in Cleveland they were 20-20 on January 15th, they ended up #2 seed in the east. Its December, a lot can happen.

And competing for a shot at GS in the conference finals.

Anything short is a dissapointment.

Not getting out of the 1st round would be a straight failure.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

which is that they end up in that 4/5 bracket with minnesota. which is the only real race in the west imo.

well, that and whether houston can take HCA from the warriors. but other than that, seeing who gets to 4/5 is the only real suspense. because 6/7/8 are getting straight washed. no chance in hell.

4/5 is the only shot any of those 2nd tier teams have of winning a series. all the remaining games where that den/pdx/okc/nop/min group are playing one another and jockeying for position should hopefully be competitive contests.

i have been saying the same thing about him since 2013. durant was right to leave. they never developed any kind of two-man game and instead of having another star open up the floor for him, KD basically had to get his in the flow while not having much flow because russ dribbled the fuck out of the shot clock. love westbrook's passion and willingness to do it all, but he confuses that with a NEED to do it all.

And you will know MY JACKET IS GOLD when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

the 1st quarter looked like he spent Christmas Eve night at the strip club. To be fair, though, Andre always gives him fits. James was assisting his ass off. 11 3's is a lot, though, but...Ariza took 12.
