>im shooting for best team ever.
And how is this even quantifiable?
Best record ever: Boogs 51-13 (inaugural season, LOL @ 247.6 avg being second best and what this team had). This team also lost in the finals.
Best playoff run ever: Your team in season 1 went 9-1 en route to the title. 43-21 record (3rd) 248.2 avg (best in the league)
Best record/Avg/Avg rank by year 2005 - Boogs (51-13, 247.6, 1st) 2006 - Commish (43-17, 260, 1st) (Won title 9-4 playoff record) 2007 - Theo (45-19, 277.5, 1st) (Won title 9-3 playoff record) 2008 - Theo (46-18, 275.6, 1st) 2009 - Ernie (43-21, 273.5, 3rd) (Won title 9-4 playoff record) 2010 - Commish (41-21, 284.6, 1st) (Won title 9-4 playoff record) 2011 - Theo (34-12, 275.5, 2nd) *lockout season 2012 - Frank (44-18, 294.7, 1st) (Won title 9-2 playoff record) 2013 - Theo (50-12, 286.3, 1st) 2014 - Ernie (43-19, 280.8, 3rd) 2015 - Commish (42-16, 302.5, 1st) 2016 - Ernie (39-19, 297.7, 1st) (Won title 9-2 playoff record)
*2006 - Offline season *2011 - Ernie was the first and only GM to win a title without earning a 1st round bye. *2012 - Frank had the biggest avg gap of any league leader ever that year. Besting the 2nd best avg by more than 19ppg *2015 - I had the best avg by 12pts (2nd widest gap all-time), the highest avg in league history. SMH, a 1 game upset stopped me from topping Franks historical 2012 team. I would have swept the next 2 rounds. *2016 - Ern had the second highest avg ever en route to his 3rd title
^^^Based on all of that, the best team ever was probably Frank's 2012 squad, followed a close second by my 2015 team and Erns 2016 team.
So you have to have a double digit ppg lead on the 2nd best avg and/or the best record of all time and the best avg of all time and win the title with a better or equal run of 9-1 while doing it.
AKA...not gonna happen. ____________
