-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

To defend him anymore.

The quicker he fades from the public eye, the better for him and for Lonzo. I see nothing positive in him making a clown of himself over and over. He’s nobody, he’s not a real coach, and he needs to sit down and let his kid do his thing.

was seen as a clownish Republican nominee and the majority of folks in the press didn't see him as a viable candidate, the press will continue to give him attention and shine since that's what the masses will watch and pay attention to.

He's been coaching his son his entire basketball life.

If Lonzo needs a firmer hand to produce...supply it.

But again, LaVar should have told Walton this in passing and not said it during an interview.

I cherish him. His usefulness is that he understands that his motivations are no more or less crass as billionaires like the Buss family or Phil Knight or the doofuses who run the NCAA or Donald Trump.

There's no Continental Op in this analogy though.

It's pretty good, but probably more important than it is good. From Yojimbo to Omar Little, Hammett's principal - that you don't get to make the world into a jungle then complain when a panther kills you - remains pretty gold. Ball is good because anybody who rips the mask off pretty civilization and shows us the jungle is, at this point, valuable.
