"NFL Redzone 11/19"

Hopkins just destroyed Pat Peterson for a whole series and ended with a TD...with 21 Savage as his QB. Man, dude deserves better.

shame they let Kase (sic) Keenum throw for 580 yards last week.

Vernon Davis is literally the fountain of youth.

particularly post-kam-chancellor KO, VD's fear of contact always bothered me. (oh and the drops too)

felt like he left a lot of yards on the table when he was a niner.

... WHEN SASHI AND HUE GET ME A FUCKING QUARTERBACK.

'The fuck was Deshone thinking? Throw the ball away and avoid a sack yet alone a fumble. In fairness to Deshone his receiving corps is the worst in the league as they've dropped over 363 yards worth of passes. In football mirroring life we'll draft a traditional mechanical, cerebral, pocket passer or Lamar Jackson and look better next year.

Blame Gabbert performed aight today so there's another pyrrhic victory.

Could be 5 guys from the other team diving for the ball and a Patriot always pops up with that shit.

and that fumble by the Raiders WR inside the 5? Wtf are you reaching the ball out for you idiot.

****************
TBH the fact that you're even a mod here fits squarely within Jag's narrative of OK-sanctioned aggression, bullying, and toxicity. *shrug*

..i know people get excited about wrs like brown, odbjr, etc.

hopkins doesn't get the hype (or the endorsements), but he's one of the best in the league with plenty of time (and potential) to improve.

I like Dak but the comparisons to Wentz last year without taking context into account showed how little knowledge many folks have.

*when faced with pressure*. Wentz has had to deal with injuries and a subpar running game (prior to this season) too, but few gave him the benefit of doubt when comparing the two.

Lemme guess, the argument was so tilted in Wentz’s favor that the voters gave it to Dak out of pity - going as far as to overlook his teammate and team’s first option Zeke.

Yeh, no arguments were made lol. Foh

And this isn’t really about Dak or Wentz specifically, that’s just the current subject, but it’s about most people not understanding just how much of a role interdependence plays in creating success and then attributing it appropriately.

I actually forgot Dak won the award until Smutz made that asinine revisionist comment.

As far as 9-1...this isn’t my first rodeo. We’re setting ourselves up for the top seed and our style of play is arguably the best I’ve seen from any Eagles team...but I’m saving my excitement for when it matters.

Personally, I would have voted for Zeke bc he unlocked so much of the game for Dak.

Regardless, trying to say “no argument” was made about Dak being better than Wentz is laughable. I don’t really care much about awards but blatant revisionism is something I do care about.

injuries too. But cot damn, this team is somehow so deep and dominant in all facets of the game right now. So many guys took a major leap forward (Wentz, Ertz,Mills, Bradham, etc) or are in the midst of a renaissance year (Patrick Robinson, Kendricks, Kelce, Agolohor, etc). This team feels special. But of course as a lifelong Eagles fan, I must temper my excitement.

And Darby for 6 weeks. That injury has turned into a blessing in diguise as the rest of the secondary (Jalen, Rasul, Patrick) were challenged to step up and did so...now w Darby returning to take the #1 role and Watkins healthy, we can go to our dime and quarter packages w full confidence - everyone slots in really well. I don’t even know what’s going to happen if Sidney Jones comes back fully healthy and shows any of that potential he flashed so often at UW.

The team is truly a reflection of the staff...all preparation and resilency but also know how to enjoy themselves. It’s a great mix

worse than 2002, because we might end up as the favorite, and because this is probably going to end with a deadly silent Linc or losing to an inferior Pats team.
