"Weekend Soccer 11/18:. AlexisNexis"

Not posting a full schedule, but I want to talk about my lovable chillian bama. Worrying about him being jaded and not trying? Shit, he knows no other way. Still inefficient but that's our alexis... For a few more months at least.

Ozil balled too. Spurs still shit

Thing is he actually tracks back too.

Sad thing about this team is an upgrade at either central midfield position would have such multiplier effect, it would really push us up by leaps and bounds

We were connected defensively, the back 4 weren’t left out to dry w silly decisions by midfielders (looking at you Aaron), and we made the most of some chances.

Too many times in the first half the defense made a good stop, played an out ball, and someone (Ramsey lol) gave it right back to Spurs

One of only 6 players in La Liga without a tackle or interception (4 goalkeepers and one player who hasn't started a match).
Less goals than Paulinho (who has as many goals as BBC combined).
Burned by Juanfran on the break

he's working on the trifecta.

I love Klopp, but his insistence on playing Moreno is going to be a disaster at some point. Perhaps this is it.

but Klopp has decided that it's ok to keep tempting fate 2-3 times a game when Moreno gives up golden chances to the opposition.

Moreno is incredible attacking, but it nowhere near makes up for the tire fire in his own end. It's especially inexcusable on a team with the defensive disasters of Liverpool.

on a player who didn't have the ball, who was chasing a ball going away from goal.

I'm almost impressed.

Anyway, lose to Spartak by 6 goals or less (or W or D) and they're through.

That PSG attack is frightening & our defence is too weak for this level. Rodgers is too stubborn to change his style of play. I'd be surprised if it isn't at least a 4-0 defeat.

supposedly for technical reasons/to rest before the Valencia game this weekend (pretty big game) and barca just needs a draw to win the group or if they lose, goal differential is still +6 for barca right now.

nonetheless...wow. and with all the rumors about whether or not messi has signed a new contract...uggh. never dull, except for the recent performances which have been successful but dull.

Admittedly I've seen about 4 juve games in the last two years, but I done see it. He's a good/decent player. And I've seen gifs of some nice goals, but... He's slow as shit, not very dynamic and he's not even that young. I saw post about 150-200m transfer fee- I know there's inflation but his Celiling isn't that high imo.

Am I wrong? Like is he better than Coutinho for example?

hes definitely better than coutinho who i am also a big fan of

Not all that deserving considering the chances Burnley had and the ones we didnt create...but the penalty call was correct (and there should have been one called in the 67th when Bellerin got tackled in the box, blatant penalty). We’ll take those 3 road points and run.

His run is what setup the deflection to Jesus and then he continued the run to the front of the net where any light touch of the ball on a rebound can wind up being a goal.
