Usually in the OAD era, he stubbornly refuses and insists on man-to-man, even when it isn't working for months on end. Now he's actually USING our length and size advantage and zoning right out of the gate. Perfect for disrupting penetration, perfect for forcing bad shots, and though most zone teams struggle to rebound, we have Bagley and Carter and DeLaurier and (occasionally, God help us) Bolden to make up the difference.

Sprained ankle, an undisclosed foot injury, a dislocated pinky. And those are just the ones I remember.

Thank GOD he seems to have learned from this and is shooting more instead of just putting his head down and driving into a million bodies.

I would say he's sophomore year good already but he's past that. He's shooting 17-26 from 3 so far, which is... insane.

Loved what I saw from SKJ. Knox obviously. I also prefer to see more of Wenyen over PJ. And I wanna see Quade in there at the end. He's making better decisions than SGA right now. And he has a greater command in the half court.

I like his potential more on the defensive end. He can turn the turnovers around with time and experience.

I also like SKJ. He played strong ball down the stretch.

Also seems like Duke missing on Knox will work out for both Duke and UK. He looked good tonight.

So he needs to pick his spots.

I also think he played too slow.

He would catch the ball in the post and then wait for the double-team to come and make the safe kick out pass. Instead of seeing the double team, making them react and throw the skip pass to get their defense imbalanced and make them pay for the double team.

It's the difference between...BANG-BANG and BANG...........bang.

He's gonna learn though.

bummed i didnt get to see bagley since he was hurt by the time i got home.

my biggest takeaway from these two games is I'm old now lol. i used to know everybody that played everywhere. now im looking at half these kids like who the fuck are yall. and those are the elite kids.

other than that i think shady's gonna have a hard year this year. these kids are green as fuck.
