-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

Suns have no leverage and they need a consistent big who's not Tyson Chandler. At least until/if Bender or Chriss pan out.

I know Chandler won DPOY like five seasons ago, but he's been downhill quickly since getting to Phoenix.

Henson has a DEFRTG of 104, averages 9.2 DREBs and 2.7 BLKs per 36.
Chandler has a DFRTG of 110 (his career worst has been getting worse for three consecutive seasons, can't be a coincidence), averages 8.7 DREBs and .8 BLKs per 36.

He's more efficient at putting the ball in the cup than Henson and he's got a wider body, true, but he's slow as absolute fuck and can't move his feet anymore. He can't run the floor. He's got a negative +/- on both ends of the floor and he's worse than Alex Len at this point.

(He's also signed through next season, when he'll be 36, for over 13 million per year. Henson isn't the answer, but he's cheaper, younger, and, as mind-boggling as it sounds, better than Chandler.)

His rebound rate looks good cause the Bucks defensive scheme is horrific in giving up open corner 3s. He can't hold his ground against anybody, and actively picks off his own guys when he steps out on PnRs.

Chandler at least can stand tall. Henson gets bodied by anybody with a pulse. And he has awful hands

Suns werent playing Bledsoe, they get a 1st round pick. It wont be lottery most likely, but an injury to Giannis and it is. (we'll see what protections are in place. Even if not a lottery its a 15-22 pick probably. Not bad, for a guy not playing and the value 1st rounders have these days.

Supposedly they also get Miamis pick if it falls outside the Top 7
Jonathan Wasserman‏Verified account @NBADraftWass 12m12 minutes ago
More Jonathan Wasserman Retweeted Adrian Wojnarowski
Suns also get Miami's 1st-round pick if it lands outside top 7. Assuming pick in Bledsoe deal is 2018, Phoenix could have three 1st-rounders

Thats another nice bonus.

Then they get a serviceable big who is expiring--so they can trade, or just let come off the books.

Im actually more curious on the Bucks side how it works. How will Bledsoe being higher usage and not a great shooter in the lineup effect the team more. Will they find more ways to stagger minutes for when Giannis is off the floor?

They also lose a bench scoring punch (whose been having a down year so far) but still...

I saw your boy this Sunday; he was shopping at a Farmer's Market in Park Slope this Sunday. I was surprised he wasn't a little bit taller. Good news I suppose it that he wasn't rocking a walking boot or using crutches to get around, but he had a pretty noticeable limp as he was walking around.

He was walking with some other folks, but I know next to nothing about the Brooklyn Nets to know if they were teammates or not.

One in the same. Sounds like you weren't too far off since the marathon route was on 4th Avenue; I wonder if that Whole Foods on 3rd and 3rd suffered in sales because of the 4th Avenue blockage. It was pretty wild folks weren't mobbing him for autographs; I expected at least children to want to mob him; dude was just hobbling around on the sidewalk like an average person.
