"NBA 10.25 Nets Win!"

EG hits a buzzer beater after the Processes seemingly controlled the whole game

Stanley better beats team perennial future for their 2nd straight 20 + point asswhoopiing to a mediocre team

Denver’s offense looking terrible to start the season. My guess is the loss tonight would force them to make the Bledsoe deal

What do I say every year. Get a team to move the ball, play hard, and hustle and you’ll win a lot of regular season games.

Exciting ending. Nets tried to toss it away with shitty FTs. Love going all in on the 3 ball against the Cavs.

They all think Bron is gone, and they all agree that Kyrie's clutchness is and will be desperately missed.

not sure where Bron will land (Lakers?) but if he's here in 2018-19 I will eat my hat.

trading Ky was a mistake that will not pan out...I see through all the partisanship. at least we got one ring with him.

NBA did us no favors with the early schedule. It's thrilling that the talent is there to compete so well with good teams but frustrating we haven't turned one or two of them into Ws.

Pat Bev shennanigans look like how teams are going to try and defend him

getting physical, denying the ball, bigger defender, etc...

PHX let him do whatever, because they're PHX

but WAS deciding to put Oubre on him was really entertaining

he kinda just sulked on offense and picked up 2 quick fouls = non-factor

you can tell he's not use that type of play

but I am thoroughly entertained by teams trying to punk him and go overboard on the rookie treatment

even those questionable foul calls seem intentional

it's going to be a hell of a season for this kid

if you want to talk actual bball

yeah, he's delivering

assists were never a question

I'm really surprised how well he rebounds in the NBA. Kid just has a nose for the ball

floater, mid-range, drives to the hoop are all there. as usual with rookies, he needs to finish strong at the hoop, but he'll learn that.

The remaining question is consistency from 3. If he can get that range there won't be anything to critique him on...other than pure LAL hate

nah, he's good fam, I just didn't expect NBA teams to try and punk him

I can't remember a rookie getting this type of treatment

His pops + this media/league push to hype the Lakers is leading to over-rating this poor kid...so yeah, I'm not surprised dudes are going at him.

I'm legit curious what the locker room is like. Like I said below, if I'm BI I'm scratching my head to why I wasn't at least included with rook as "the new faces of the Lakers"

He instantly put the lakers back on the map. Those season ticket holders are happy with resale value.

The lakers are on national TV despite a 20 win season, and are a part of the talking heads debate every game day.

There's a huge push by the team, and league, to make LA relevant again....thus they have decided to push this kid.

Had LA taken Tatum, he'd be getting the same push. Next Grant Hill or some sh!t.

I'd argue that if anything put the Lakers "back on the map" (other than the league just pushing the narrative) it is Magic.

Either way, if I am BI I'm salty as f*ck.

I don't really have a dog in this fight, but I struggle to understand how Ball is more marketable or deserving of praise than BI.

there is no way he "put the Lakers on the map" or is the reason they have x amount of nationally televised games.

Would Laker nation be as excited about someone else? Maybe not, but no way he is the reason they are getting this push.

Of all the things this kid is going to go through this year, lets not also blame him for making us sit through these Laker games on TV...

So they just stuck a 20 win team with I think the # is like 3rd most National TV games cause they want to make the Lakers randomly relevant again?

Why didnt they do it with the last two #2 picks Lakers had: Ingram and DLo?

The league saw the buzz and press Lonzo was getting and how he was selling at Summer league and moved accordingly.

on defense to him or "punk" him he was just missing wide open jumpers. He still affected the game in other ways.

12, 9 & 9 out the gate isn't bad for a 19 year-old.

His jumper is broke but I think he has the work ethic to fix it. When his jumper isn't falling he needs to be more aggressive getting to the basket, he is decent finisher in traffic.

He has defensive potential he still has some lapses here and there but he's good at using his length to tip balls and affect shots.

I think he'll be fine.
