might be the first time thats happened since hes been at UM. the inverse backfield package confused them, and the DBs spent a lot of time yelling and pointing at each other.

but didn't think PSU would carve them up with ease. PSU even left a lot of points and yards on the field - McSorley's INT when in scoring position for a 3rd straight drive that led to Michigan's first score, Barkley's uncharacteristic drop on the wheel route, etc.
O'Korn holds the ball way too damn long. There was a brief moment where I thought he 'got it' and was going to give us trouble. That didn't last long though.

Night games away make me way too damn nervous. So, so tough to play OSU in Columbus, but PSU has won there in the past - even as an unranked or lower ranked team. Still, a very difficult task ahead of them.
Not even sure what to make of this game. 8 weeks into the season and they've only played 1 common opponent - Indiana, so it's hard to really gauge how these teams stack up relative to competition. I just know PSU's defense is pretty damn spectacular though not battle tested enough to make me comfortable against OSU. The offense is dynamic, but can be stagnant at times. If you sell out to shut down Barkley, McSorely will kill you. You find a way to shut them both down running, then McSorley can beat you with his arm as evidenced last night. You get Barkley one on one with a LB and he's gonna win that every time. Desean Hamilton and Juwan Johnson are big targets who can beat you with size and speed. If healthy Gesicki can dominate too.
I haven't studied OSU enough to give an informed opinion. I feel confident that PSU has the players and system to get this W, but know that OSU will present their most difficult challenge and can easily win this if PSU's passing game isn't on point.
