My other QB is having his Peyton Manning swan song so yeah this season is off to a shit start. Only saving grace is Kev Hogan continues to out work a lot of QBs drafted in earlier rounds. He's on his way to a productive backup career and I love it. Get that Derek Anderson perennial backup bag Kev.

ellison at TE was a solid signing on the right track to assisting with blocking duties since I honestly don't think there was anybody out there at LT available to replace Flowers at a decent price. We are yet to see if Engram can block but Adams can block, and this team also kept a fullback, so it's something they knew they needed to address, but they did it with surrounding parts rather than at the root

They picked up Jones, Fluker, and Wheeler, kinda mad they didn't keep Big Body Bisnowaty but they obviously found Wheeler the better rookie.

Thing is other qb's can make the most out of shitty o-lines (like Stafford did) or just run behind the stronger part of the line like Jim Bob Cooter (lolz) did with Wagner and Lang last night. Richburg and Pugh were meant to be that rock solid part of the line but it's been shit as a whole.

Eli might not make it through the season. I might not make it through the season watching skittish Eli. No solutions in the foreseeable future other than rock-solid, perfect execution centered around the team's offensive strengths.

His head was basically wrapped up and driven into the ground underneath the defenders entire body weight. Thought he'd be seriously hurt on that one, and he got right up.

They've gotta get creative in their formations and give Flowers a lot more help. You can't keep doing 3 WRs, 1 RB, 1 TE(who is really a WR) and leaving the OL all 1 on 1.

Or another solution that I don't know why they haven't done by now....move Pugh to LT and Flowers to RT. Pugh is at least functional. Flowers is a train wreck, and it's flat out dangerous to have him at LT at this point.
