"Bengals need Kap"

I mean ok they could try starting AJ but Kap needs to be hired stat and Dalton is giving me the fear and the depression big time after yesterday. All set on course for throwing 68 INTs this season *gulp*

but it seemed like the idea had potential to kill a couple birds with one stone... I mean Colin has those play-off Ws.

either way the O (and D for that matter) Line has got to do better.

probably the worst offensive line in the league. But even then, the Bengals are dumb and think AJ Mccarron is actually good, so they still won't get Kap.

...and at the end of it all

I'm not sure he cares as much about playing right now as all his cheerleaders do

That organization is lucky the Browns are in the same division - just makes them look better. Yet they might be just as inept.

Marvin needs to move on to a better gig.

they're trying to build again imo expectations shouldn't be where they've been the last 2 or 3 years... I don't know if Marvin gets picked up if he loses the job with the Bengals. I'd like to see him succeed though I do think he's that guy.

Marvin has been steadily losing his job for 3 years now, I know they won't drop him during the season but there is absolutely nothing encouraging about the first two games. Yes the line is bad and yes Dalton is a dumpster fire and should be benched. But the head coach has been a constant. It's the end of the road, we need to start fresh. Green and Burfict and Dre locked up, let's get a coach that gives a shit..

But the Bengals have never fired a coordinator during the season. I can't imagine the offense is gonna magically appear next week at Green Bay. If they go 3 straight games with no touchdowns, they gotta fire him. They should do it now, since the new offensive coordinator would have a couple of extra days, but we know it's not gonna happen. Mike Brown loves the status quo.

Hunt, fournette, cook all getting heavy usage. Mixon getting sprinkled in here and there. Makes no sense.

Yeah, I get it, he fumbled. But with how bad the offense is doing, it's inexplicable to keep him on the sidelines the rest of the game just because of one mistake.

some fumbles are just unavoidable. that was one of those.

physics caused that fumble, not John Ross.

It would be one of the sports stories of the millennium if he can make a triumphant return. Imagine him making a playoff run with a team? Goddamn that would be sweet.

I don't know enough about football to know what happened. I thought he was a lock to be a HOFer after that SuperBowl run with the Niners. I guess he couldn't adapt to defensive adjustments? Is it his passing accuracy? Is it that simple that if he improved that one part of his game than he could exploit the running again? Anyone with football knowledge can give any odds of that happening or what would need to happen for him to reach all-star type caliber again (aside from finding a team)?

He seems to be an ideal backup for a conservative starting QB like Alex smith...someone who can provide the opposite offensive option.

it looked like he was gonna be a dominant, multiple bowl winning qb. Pretty sure that was the common thought at the time no? I'm obviously not saying he's a HOFer...I'm saying it looked like he WOULD be after that playoff run. He almost won the superbowl in what...his sophomore season? Dude looked unstoppable. And he took the starting job away from one the best in the league.

while it looked like he would have a solid career, winning multiple SB's is rare in the NFL.

and Alex Smith wasn't one of the best in the league. That dude rarely throws the ball more than 12 yards downfield.

kap barely knew greg roman's ask-madden-ass playbook.

woulda had a super bowl ring if he hadn't taken so long to get the play in for that QB sweep with a clear path to the endzone before being blown dead/TO by harbaugh.

and that was at his peak.

seriously.

read-option. grand opening/closing.

he had a nice dead-cat bounce in chip's system, if you consider the first-half of games a victory.

but that's it.

kap's best chance with any owner is to come in as a backup and read a playbook for a few weeks. niggas acting like he about to comeback cold vs jerry quarry and plant the flag back to sierra leone for all of us.
