"Bucs Dolphins postponed to week 11"

daaaaaamn that sucks for those two teams.

Obviously small in comparison to the big picture but thats a huge disadvantage for those 2 teams basically losing their bye week and being a week behind in the early parts of the season...sheeesh.

They couldn't move the game to thursday???

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

The argument against Thursday was that it would interfere with prep for the hurricane

that bye was the perfect bye too, right before the stretch run

hopefully tampa isn't underwater come Tuesday though.

wonder what they woulda done if they didn't have the same bye week

Tampa/Miami should get some sort of concession for the year tho. Maybe a couple extra roster spots or something ionno.

the other issue is Miami only had 7 home games to begin with ('home' team in London v the Saints), so the league really didn't want to move the game outta Miami.

..kinda sucks that the nfl couldn't move the game out of state, but i understand the logistical nightmare they'd face regardless.

Falcons fans would have come out to root for Miami, sorta replicating a home field advantage

I get it, last minute logistics, probably play in an empty stadium
The NFL doesn't have weather contingency plans?
half of Houston is underwater and Texans playing their opener
Fins and Bucs: Goodelled
