if IT2 is EQUAL to him and they add Crowder and a big....hey, they should beat the Warriors.

Oh well.

Considering the Cavs only COMPETED when Kyrie went the fuck off for 38 (they should won the game, but Bron wanted to be the hero and campe up empty 3 straight times, while GS erased a nice lead with 3 minutes to go) and 42.

good luck with that, dogg.

Of course they were only close when Kyrie went off.

Because when he didn't Lebron was by his damn self.

Lebron came to play every game and he only has a chance when someone else helps out. And Kyrie was all the help he had.

Kyrie is nice and I think he is ultimately better than Thomas but let's not act like Thomas isn't well deserving of a Top 5 MVP candidate last year. And he may be better with Lebron because he won't have to do it all.

Kyrie shouldn't have to drop 30+ all series, even if he almost did. Love only cracked 20 once.

See, Steph has the luxury of being trash for an entire series or throwing up a garbage ass 14 like he did in game 4. kyrie gotta go off ALL SERIES. and with KD, the margin for error was razor thin this year. kyrie lowest total was 19, but niggas running around talmbout he show in the series. maybe he shoulda got ALL JR shots and half of Love's. couldn't have been worse.

And he played Steph pretty well. Too bad everyone else so trash the Warriors could afford to hide Steph and put an ALL- D level player on Kyrie. Jr couldn't even manage hitting the TEENS in the series.

that team peaked. Bron leaving.

Of course Kyrie has to go off all series.

It was him and Lebron.

Love was a major part of the problem as is Tristin's contract which is Lebron's fault.

Steph can chill an entire series because he not only has KD, he has Klay, Draymond, Livingston, and Iggy.

Warriors are on another level from everyone with that depth.

And the problem with your theory is, Steph doesn't take series off...he put his work in.

the luxury of being subpar for multiple games in a series. he can do that.

but, Ky don't drop 25+ and it's a wrap. and the cavs KNEW this for 3 years and never got another real SCORER.

8. "Ky gonna Ky out in Boston"
In response to Reply # 0

It is going to be fun to see how he works in one of the League's best systems (probably 2nd best system to SA's recipe).

No need to try and throw shade - what Bron & Ky achieved in 2016 was legendary - they are made men.

Cleveland-Boston is once again among the hottest rivalries in the game. Bron been devastating Boston for years - can Ky change the momentum back to when Pierce & Co. were edging Cleveland in 2nd/3rd rounds?

I personally like the trade for both teams. Breathes new life into the East. I am a bit concerned about IT's hip injury though. He was really broken down at the end of his playoff run. Seems like he put inordinate mileage on that small body last season. But I think he does a lot of what Ky did in terms of timely scoring - and is among the best at creating offense out of nothing and getting to the line and knocking down free throws at the highest clip in the game. Also *love* Jae Crowder addition. Cavs really needed to bolic up on the front line.

I think it keeps both teams right about where they were. The team that can adjust quicker will fare better. Seems like it has to be an expedited experiment for both teams on day one.

they hedged their bets, if they lose IT, LeBron or both they get a sorely needed big pick. not sure what firsts they have going forward, they seemed to give up a lot overall. if they are headed toward a rebuild, then fuck it, they got pieces in this deal to be deeper for this year and start a turnaround in the draft. they were not going to win with 2.5 horses and obviously this situation came to a head. boston's deal is pretty unfuckwittable unless the pick turns out to be a stud.

And you will know MY JACKET IS GOLD when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

you're a great example of how not to be a fan...

choosing to bandwagon from one team to the next based on where some One-and-Done from duke (or in Kyrie's case 11 games and done).... instead of actual NBA team you ride for...

it shows the younger generation how NOT to roll...

so please...feel free to continue...

The best part of this trade is the fact that Bron will try to get a switch every time down the floor to get Kyrie on him for that poster dunk.

If Kyrie can get more ASGs, Finals appearances, rings, whatever? Let them credit the coach. Let them credit the fall of the Cavs. Let them credit the flat fucking earth. I don't care. As long as my guy continues playing exceptionally well and racking up credits in a Hall of Fame career.

They'll credit Stevens for Tatum being an All-Star too. That's fine with me too. As long as that career trajectory stays where it should go. Too many goddamn variables that can fuck up careers for me to worry much about who haters/media/whomever give the credit to.

I'm sure having a team that's "his team" with a coach who makes defense an identity helps. We've seen in individual games and international play that he's always been *able* to defend, the effort's just been super inconsistent. I'm sure he's now relishing that defense will now be seen as one of his strengths rather than his most glaring weakness.

>You JUST getting it?

I mean....IT was always a scorer....Even when he was at Sac....That has never been a problem for him....The biggest revelation though is what Stevens has done defensively WITHOUT THEIR TWO BEST DEFENDERS (Bradley and Crowder). Dude's system is making below average defenders look like lock-down, respectable defenders. And then that Tatum kid...He still finds a way to impact a game...When he's on the floor good things happen...

Stevens right now is sitting in that COTY seat...And it's not even February.....Dude has no business winning without an all-star on the floor...

GOAT of his era......long live Prince.....God is alive....

Man...I don't care about that bullshit....lol

All teams need talent to go to the next level.....The Celts ain't going nowhere in the playoffs without their all-star players. I'm just impressed with Stevens as a coach and specifically his defensive system. But anyone thinking that they will have success without Kyrie after the regular season is just trolling.....He's going to help put them over the top...So yeah....Calm down and be happy that your boy doesn't have to be Superman every night and be the clutch finisher that he is...

GOAT of his era......long live Prince.....God is alive....
