-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

But the time delays late in the 4qt in tightly contested games were always a complaint of media and also folks in here.

The change forces players to have to strategize on the fly which could add unpredictability at the end.

The Millennial influence is definitely felt in this decision but the game could be more exciting as a result, which would be good.

I never cared when it was my team playing, or a game between top teams. If it's a game I'm casually interested, I may not sit through.

This was definitely changed for the casual fan

Seems like a bold move on the league's part. The NFL would never do such a thing. Fewer ads at the high points of viewership? This is a VERY fan-friendly move and almost makes me ignore the fact that they will have advertising on jerseys now. Almost.

And you will know MY JACKET IS GOLD when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

If they're showing fewer ads during peak viewing, they can probably charge more for that space.
