"Rubio to Utah "

Good get for the Jazz. I think he fits their system well --especially if they can get Hayward back. Word was he wanted to play with Hill but definitely wanted a pg.

I'm told Minnesota will be get a 2018 first-round pound to trade Ricky Rubio into Utah cap space. @tribjazz first to report deal happeningNational Writer (twitter.com)

The Wolves can probably get him for cheap, although I don't know how well he gets along with Butler

I just got home from the gym; that's pretty big news because he was earning about 11 mil per year and I think he had two years left on his deal. What does this mean for him salary wise if another team wants to pick him up? Did the Bulls buy him out?

Could be wrong but I see NY, NJ or someone like that taking a flyer over a team on the cusp of building something serious.

I think Teague is an interesting fit from a contribution standpoint in that he'd be the #4 guy, not a #2 or 3, he'll have a fair amount of playmaking help from Jimmy and KAT and a defensive dog at his side in the back court.

I don't see too many better options after Lowry, but then I'm not as high on Mills and Hill as others are, even on the defensive end. I think Teague would be a nice fit, though he's not really the shooter you want.

If you wind up with Lowry though? That's a legit squad. If KAT makes a quantum leap you're going to be that proverbial "Team Nobody Including The Champs Want To Face In The Playoffs".

I really think the Wolves could do better than Teague. I don't know why all the chatter is centering on him. I mean he's not bad if the price is right, but he's not even that much better of a shooter than Rubio was.

They could've fucked around and got Jimmer but no, they just had to get Rubio.

LOOOOL at Steph asking for $207 million contract. I am all for this as it's a sign of the future.. Livingston gone if this happens, possibly.

Plus dude been making like 10 nil per the last few years

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

I don't know about this. I guess it all comes down to fit, and Thibs obviously likes a lot about Teague. But it's a lot of money for someone who's a bit better as a shooter (which is necessary after the Butler trade) but a significantly worse defender.

That said, a starting five of Teague/Wiggins/Butler/KAT/Dieng should get this team to the playoffs, and there's still money left over to upgrade the bench.

or anything close to it.

Minnesota I don't feel upgraded here. Utah gets a good playmaker. I think Rubio will do well under Snyder, assuming he stays healthy.

And you will know MY JACKET IS GOLD when I lay my vengeance upon thee.
