"2017 Wizards Offseason Post"

Since my man Mash hasn't done it, I'll jump into it here. I've been discussing the offseason on FB groups more than here.

So...........

We all know what's wrong. No bench depth. And the looming decision to sign Porter to a near max/max contract.

Of course most armchair fans are clamoring for some big blockbuster trade to be made to give us a BIG THREE, but what assets do we have?

What say you?

Because we already locked up Beal and Wall is going to want money in 2 years. Thats a a core 3 all maxed but wont be as high as 4th in the East and no wiggle room whatsoever...But what other options do we have??

Let us all thank Ernie for the lack of cap space, draft picks, and overpaid bums on the team.

Wall could very well leave if he thinks the Org isn't serious about building a championship team. Would Ted be fine with that? I know Wall don't wanna end up like Ovie.

Tim Frazier (who?) from the Pelicans is now ours. Guess we didn't like what we saw in the draft workouts.

If Ernie wants a legit backup PG he is gonna have to spend for once. What he should be doing is trying to get a higher draft pick.

I don't see where we got better, but don't see where we got worse either.

Tim Frazier, Jodie Meeks and Mike Scott? Eh. Better hope Brooks can develop someone or Oubre comes out the blocks super hot.

I think so. If anything and since they messed up by offering Porter all that scratch, I'd do my best to turn Beal into something else. Wall goes nowhere ever.

I'm not a Wiz fan but I'm close enough to DC and do watch them play enough to know that Wall, Beal, and Porter is a waste of money. That trio, IMO, won't get them any higher than they currently are in the EC pecking order.
